“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” – Jackie Robinson
I am running the 2020 Chicago Marathon in support of World Vision to provide clean water to the developing world. Today, nearly 1,000 children under the age of 5 will die because they don’t have access to water. But we can solve this problem within our generation. For every $50 donated, one person will receive access to life-saving clean water in their community.
I have only been able to be successful because of the guidance of my coaches, Rick Muhr and Jean Fain, the encouragement of fellow runners in the Boston Marathon Coalition, and the support of people like you. Please watch the short video about my journey running marathons.
In 2018 and 2019, we raised over $28,000 to support Silver Lining Mentoring in the Boston Marathon! This amazing non-profit provides mentors and life skill development for youth in foster care throughout Greater Boston. Youth in this program are far more likely to attend college or be employed than their peers, providing the best chance for them to succeed despite the challenges and neglect being removed from families and placed in foster care present.
